African Mad-Dog Mahiga calls for Somaliland’s recognition
The UN’s Under Secretary General Envoy for Somalia Augustine B. Mahiga has been quoted, “Somaliland is worthy of recognition, ” VOA-News reported.
Mr. Mahiga, a master-mind of Somalia’s partition project, has recently married to a women from the secessionist’s enclave of Somaliland (Northwest Somalia). Since Mahiga married this lady, he abandoned his reponsibililities to Somalia as an envoy secretary.
Mahiga has abused his position of power by endorsing Somalia to be divided into mini-states under the guise of ‘federalism.’ The recent drafted ‘Roadmap Plan’ for Somalia advocates for this objective. Such a scenario will create many smaller, powerless lands under the control of Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.
It’s an urgent duty for the UN’s Secretary General HE Bankimoon to remove Mr. Mahiga immediately! so that UN’s credibility with Somalia could be restored.
Currently, millions of Somalis are suffering from the catastrophic famine, unseen for the last 60 years; Hundreds of thousands remain in refugee camps under deplorable situation; the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia is locked in a conflict with Harakat Shabab Mujahidiin that controls most of the southern Somalia.
Kenya and Ethiopia have invaded Somali territories under the guidance of Mr. Augustine Mahiga, and AMISOM troops mobilized to take part in the Mahiga’s partitioning program.
Whilst, conflict looms in the south, Mr. Mahiga unveils his support for the secessionists’ wishes–separating northern regions from the rest of Somalia, an unsuccessful clan trajectory thus far.
Somalis in general have condemned Mahiga’s betrayal, and demonstrations are expected to sprout through out Somalia, and countries where Somalis dwell including U.S, UK, Australia, and Canada.
Somalia’s weak Transitional Federal Government is still silent on the Mahiga’s malice. This hasn’t been the only time TFG leaders failed to respond to an issue of national importance–last month, when Kenyan troops invaded southern Somalia without consulting anyone within the TFG ranks, it took 7 days for the TFG President so speak on the invasion.
